A Control Panel is a software tool used to control the content of an Internet hosting account. This includes, but is not limited to, files, emails, databases, stats along with other operations executed with them. The CP offers a web-based interface to handle all of these things and anything else associated with the web hosting service using different sections in which you can access functions through buttons and/or menus. The less difficult to use a CP is, the easier it'll be for you to manage your world-wide web presence as a whole. In the typical scenario, the Control Panel is the hosting account’s back office, while a separate billing account is used to control payments and domain registrations - if the company offers that service. Trouble tickets may be managed via the billing account or through a separate system.
