Mailing list members are users that have subscribed to a given list to get periodic email messages, including weekly newsletters. In case the program that is used to manage the mailing list allows it, you can also include mailing list members manually, but in this case such emails may be recognized as being unsolicited and reported as spam by the recipients. Usually, these members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking a link in the messages they receive, or you, being the mailing list moderator, can manually delete them if they request this or in case you decide that some of the members should not be part of the mailing list anymore. Each member will be able to view only their address in the "To" section of the email messages they receive, but not the email addresses of the other members of the mailing list.

You will be able to add or delete users by sending an email to majordomo@your-domain.com, so you can achieve this from any location without even having to log into the hosting Control Panel. If you import a member manually, they will receive a verification request that they need to accept in order to be included in the list. As soon as they do this, they will get a message with the mailing list’s bylaws and features. You will also be able to see a list of all your mailing list subscribers and to check who’s getting your newsletters or any other sort of regular electronic correspondence.

Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Hosting
With our
Linux semi-dedicated hosting services, there is no limit on the number of mailing list subscribers that you can have. You can administer the mailing list subscriptions with ease using the Majordomo software that we provide with every semi-dedicated account and as soon as you set up a new mailing list through the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you will be able to add new subscribers. The latter will receive an email in order to confirm that they wish to receive your newsletters in the future and when they do that, they will be added to the list. Deleting a member or viewing all present subscribers is also incredibly easy and involves sending an email message to the mailing list’s admin email address, so you can administer everything even if you aren’t logged into your hosting Control Panel.
